We know you like bubble tea!
We know you like booze!
So we are mixing them together and you are gonna love it!
And we are serving Chinese food, too!
What can be better than that?!
said the event description. I know that doesn't even rhyme, but sounded like an innovative idea :D Plus, Friday night of post-midterm, extended weekend, so who cares!! :D
I was having the Bubble Tea for the first time. From the little wisdom I've gathered from this party, it essentially is a flavored milk tea which contains chewy tapioca balls (read, sabudana :P). It was being served with either Bacardi or KahlĂșa. Apparently originated in Taiwan, I mean who else will put sabudana in the tea!! :D I found it good, keeping aside the fact that I did not like those tapioca balls at all.
Apart from that, there was Chinese food, mainly noodles and some appetizers. Spring rolls and momos after real long time! There were few Chinese brands of chocolates, which were all tasteless. No one managed to eat more than a bite of those :D
In and all, tried out something new. Plus, food and tea, while having 'grad-talk' with bunch of people, not a bad start to the weekend!
